This is to announce that Suprema will discontinue the BioStar Cloud feature effective on the dates as outlined below. This will effect all features that rely on the current BioStar Cloud including providing access to BioStar 2 login via biostar2.com urls, the BioStar Cloud API and Mobile Face Enrollment. The remote login and mobile enrollment features will be replaced with a more secure and robust solution in BioStar X, with expected feature release date in Q3 2025.

Effective on the End of Distribution date, there will be no new BioStar Cloud activations allowed in BioStar 2, but existing activations will continue to work until the End of Support date, at which time all functions will stop working. As of this date the supporting server infrastructure will be terminated and all information will be deleted, each activation stores the email address used for activation and there is no additional personal information nor system or user passwords stored on this server. BioStar Cloud will continue to be supported, including security updates and other issues, until the End of Support date. For more information please contact your Suprema Support Representative.
