Along with its optical sensor and Suprema’s Conformance Decision Engine (CDE) technology that captures an optimal fingerprint image for all finger types, SFM5000 series offers you flexibility to create a new, powerful and innovative system design at an affordable cost.
SFM5000 Series guarantees "Best-in-class" performance (5,000 template match/ sec) and the highest level of security in terms of MINEX-Certified Algorithm, Fake/Live Finger Detection (SFM5060 only), Fingerprint Template and Packet Data Encryption.


Suprema’s Live Finger Dectection(LFD) technology compares dynamic and static images of fake and live fingers. The advanced analysis algorithm detects abnormalities in change of fingerprint patterns. Static features, revealing liveliness or unnaturalness of fingers, are detected and distinguish from live fingers. This LFD technology provides a safer solution to protect your fingerprint system from attempts by fake fingerprints.
